Fastjet: Smart Baggage

From Saturday, 10 February, Guests using smart bags to travel must ensure they follow the fastjet policy on carriage of smart bags. Here’s what you need to know.
If your hand held smart bag is labelled Drop & Fly at check in, the battery must be removed and carried in the cabin before your bag is placed in the cargo hold. If it is not labelled Drop & Fly, the battery can be removed and placed into the bag to take with you on board. Please note the bag can't weigh more than 7 kg or exceed 55 x 35 20 cm.
To check your Smart Bag in at the check-in counter, remove the battery and carry it on board with you into the aircraft cabin in your hand baggage.
If the battery cannot be removed the bag will not be accepted for travel
