Kenya Airways (KQ) this week launched direct flights between Nairobi and Victoria Falls, linking to Cape Town.
The new route between Nairobi and Victoria Falls operates three times a week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The route is linked to Cape Town and will see the airline increase its operations to Cape Town from four, which are served via Livingstone (Zambia), to six.
The flights depart Nairobi at 7h20, arriving in Victoria Falls at 9h30am, departing Victoria Falls 10h20am to arrive in Cape Town at 13h25. The return flight takes off from Cape Town International Airport at 14h15, arriving in Victoria Falls at 17h10pm and depart Victoria Falls at 18h00 and touching down in Nairobi at 22h00.
Kenya Airways’ Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mbuvi Ngunze commented: “We have seen increased demand for Cape Town, and had to increase our frequency in December. The route via Victoria Falls offers our guests two leisure holiday options.”
