FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS
Everybody’s talking about the new ship that MSC Cruises, the world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and brand market leader in Europe, South America and South Africa, is bringing to our shores. And there’s good reason for it: MSC Musica was designed to offer fun and entertainment beyond your wildest dreams.
‘MSC Musica is the elegant, spacious promise of adventure and an exciting new addition for our South African guests,’ says MSC Cruises South Africa Managing Director Ross Volk.
MSC Musica is a larger ship with more cabins, more restaurants, more swimming pools, more elegant venues, more activities, and more space to enjoy life at sea than ever before.
MSC Musica has 1,275 cabins, including 17 for guests with disabilities or reduced mobility. And of all those cabins, an impressive 809 of them are balcony cabins, and they’re more spacious than the cabins you grew to love on MSC Sinfonia.
More Swimming Pools
There are three swimming pools on board. One is for the kids to have all to themselves, the other two are complemented by two whirlpool baths each, and serviced by their own outdoor bars. One swimming pool is lined with beautiful faux palm trees, so even if you’re on a nowhere cruise, you’ll still feel like you’re on a tropical island.
Mealtimes on MSC Musica become something of an adventure with so much choice. From the popular self-service buffet and pizzeria and two formal dining rooms, to an á la carte Italian seafood and steakhouse, and even an authentic Japanese sushi bar, there is no shortage of flavours for family and friends to explore together.
More Designer Venues
With plenty of dance floors, you get to show all your signature moves … or you can dance with Lady Luck in the casino or the games room, if you prefer. Amongst MSC Musica’s other designer venues, you’ll also find a cigar lounge, wine tasting bar, specialty coffees bar, and a cocktail bar, all featuring their own brand of entertainment. There’s also an art gallery on board.
With bowling lanes, mini golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball, virtual games, the LED wall, shuffleboard, age-specific children’s activity clubs, the duty-free shopping arcade, the gym, the power walking track, the glorious health spa; there’s plenty for everyone in the family to do.
A Bigger Theatre
And then there’s MSC Musica’s stunning La Scala Theatre. Seating over 1,000 guests, this plush, double story theatre is larger than any theatre on land in South Africa, and can stage more extravagant Broadway-esque productions than ever before. With different shows featuring international casts every night, it’s well worth your while to make it a part of your every evening’s entertainment.
A Bigger Fitness Centre
MSC Musica’s fitness centre and spa are much bigger too. The Aurea Spa thermal suite adds a further 3 whirlpool baths to the ships 4 whirlpools on its outdoor deck, as well as boasting 2 saunas, 2 Turkish baths, a beauty parlour with a hairdresser and a beautician, a solarium relaxation area, thalassotherapy baths, and a number of treatment rooms.
And The Glittering New Destination
This summer season, MSC Cruises has also added a new unparalleled marine safari experience destination to its itineraries. Pomene Bay, a remote and unspoiled peninsula, 605 km north of Mozambique’s capital Maputo, is destined to become the star of the show with its palms and powdery white sands, its crystal blue waters and unexplored coral reefs.
MSC Cruises has added to all that exotic dreaminess with its own beach club, the MSC Pomene Safari Beach Club, exclusively for MSC Cruises guests. The MSC Pomene Safari Beach Club will offer a range of facilities, including a stylish Club House complete with swimming pool, three beach bars and spa services from the MSC Aurea Spa in two private cabanas. For the kids, there is a jungle gym play area that will host animations, games, and activities.
The peninsula itself has an abundance of offerings. World class snorkelling surrounded by an astounding variety of marine life, exploring the jungle-like mangroves bursting with birdlife and juvenile reef fish, ‘forever’ walks on pristine stretches of beach, and horseback riding are just the start.
From life on board to her divine destinations, MSC Musica is the adventure that feels like an endless summer.
