Britrail Passes

BritRail’s range of passes offers great value and flexibility for exploring destinations in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. With a BritRail Pass, you have the freedom to travel as often as you want, when you want.

Eligibility: You can buy a BritRail Pass if you are not a UK resident.

Pre-booking time: The first date of travel must be within 6 months of the purchase date. 

Additional Details: Some trains in Great Britain do not have 1st class accommodations.

BRITRAIL PASS

Where can the pass be used? England, Scotland & Wales
Airport Express: BritRail Passes are valid on Gatwick Express, Heathrow Express and Stansted Express.

BRITRAIL LONDON PLUS PASS

Where can the pass be used? South East England (London Area) 
Boundaries: Harwich, Kings Lynn, Huntingdon, Bedford, Long Buckby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester Foregate, Bedwyn, Salisbury, Bristol Temple Meads and Weymouth
Exclusions: BritRail London Plus Passes are not valid on Eurostar services, road links between airport and railway stations, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), Tram lonks, privately owned railways, steam services, London Underground trains and buses, boats, hovercraft, nor any other services that are not run by National Rail.

BRITRAIL ENGLAND PASS

Where can the pass be used? England
Exclusions: BritRail England Passes are not valid on Eurostar services, Tyne and Wear Metro, Manchester Metro Link, road links between airport and railway stations, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), Tram links, privately owned railways, steam services, London Underground trains and buses, boats, hovercraft, nor any other services that are not run by National Rail.

Where can the pass be used? Scotland
Exclusions: BritRail Freedom of Scotland Passes are not valid on Glasgow Underground, road links between airport and railway stations, privately owned railways, Tram links, steam services, nor any other services that are not run by National Rail.

Where can the pass be used? Central Scotland (between Glasgow and Edinburgh)

Where can the pass be used? South West England. Valid on First Great Western and South West Trains only

  • Inverness – Aviemore
