Set amongst 20 acres of tropical gardens, the hotel is a series of white-washed buildings with beautiful arches at the resort`s entrances and windows. Typical of the Arabic buildings in East Africa, this is one of the east coast`s most beautiful resorts.
The hotel provides entertainment on selected evenings, has a beautiful swimming pool right next to the beach, a fully equipped spa and a gymnasium, miniature golf, 4 floodlit tennis courts, 2 air-conditioned squash courts, a volley ball court, water sports, a hair salon, a souvenir shop and baby sitting on request.
Standard rooms are village rooms and are located off the winding lanes of the resort, which is designed to resemble a traditional Swahili village. Each room keeps with this theme, with carved doors and balconies, coral pillars, stone-carved niches and Lamu-styled furniture. Each room is equipped with modern facilities, such as satellite TV, a mini-bar, a safe, a hair dryer and Internet connectivity.
